Why am I not here? (part2)

That night we had a stargazing session where we also admired the beauty of the moon and Venus using powerful telescopes. At Agastya, they also have a planetarium with a dome-shaped ceiling on which a documentary on space exploration was screened for us to watch. It was a pain to look at the ceiling for so long, but in the end, it was totally worth it. There also was a moving model of all the planets in our solar system which showed the speeds of the rotation and revolution of the planets. It was quite a fascinating experience. After that, we called it a day and went to bed. We had bunk beds in our room which made it a lot better. I slept on the upper bunk. I lay in bed thinking about what would unravel tomorrow!

We woke up kind of early the next day. We were told that we were going to have a small walk and then a scavenger hunt! On our walk, we saw some interesting plants and butterflies. We then reached a park, full of various peculiar shrubs and trees. We were given clues that led us to trees from which we either had to collect something or just note the name down. Our team had won the game. We were the first team to turn in our collection and answers and we got them all correct! It was quite a fun game. We ran around the park looking for plants, some times we were misled by each other, but eventually got things right.
Then we had breakfast and were ready to continue our learning journey.

We then entered the Physics department, where we learnt about concave and convex mirrors and tried to burn paper using them but we couldn't accomplish the task. Soon afterwards we took a turn into the world of math. We entered the "Ramanujan Math Park", a math park dedicated to the great Indian mathematician, the man who knew infinity, the man who is known as Srinivasa Ramanujan. The gate of the park was in the shape of pi. The digits of pi were written all over the park! It was a really cool place. Over there we solved some math puzzles and also learnt about Platonic Solids. After that, we played some games that were developed in Agastya Foundation to help teach math.

We then packed up and head back to school. I really liked our trip, it was quite a thrilling experience. My friends and I had a blast! My friends had interesting views about the place. Some of my classmates really enjoyed the architecture. Some thought goat eyeballs and chicken intestines were cool. One of my good friends badly wanted a piece of zinc from the chemistry lab. He was literally willing to anything for it. He summed up some courage and asked the teacher for a piece. Lucky for him he actually got one! I happened to be with him so I got a piece too! Back at the bus where we met the rest of the class, my friend started showing off his piece of zinc as if it wasn't zinc but it was diamond!

These days I am starting to get restless. The last time I stepped out of the door was about a month ago! I have taken this opportunity to make games using the  Unity game engine. I have made some progress, not much, though I am still having fun with Unity!

Now that the lockdown has been extended, the hours of absolute boredom have become countless and infinite.
